Each hour is color-coded — green for typical working hours, amber for evenings/early mornings, gray for overnight — so you can spot a meeting slot that actually works for everyone at a glance, instead of doing time-zone math in your head. Click any hour in your own row to preview exactly what time that is everywhere else, and the tool automatically calls out the best fully-overlapping working-hours window for the day.

Frequently asked questions

Does this account for daylight saving time?

Yes — it uses your browser's built-in time zone database (the same one your operating system uses), which tracks each region's daylight saving rules and transition dates automatically, including regions that don't observe DST at all.

What counts as "working hours" here?

The tool uses a standard 9am–6pm local day as the baseline for the color coding and the overlap suggestion, since that's a reasonable default for most office schedules. If your team works different hours, you can still read each city's exact local time directly off the timeline.

Can I compare more than a handful of cities at once?

Yes, add as many as you need — the overlap suggestion recalculates to require every added city to be in working hours at the same time, so adding more cities naturally narrows (or removes) the overlap window.

Why does it say there's no overlap for some dates?

If your added cities are spread far enough apart (say, more than about 12 hours), there may genuinely be no hour where every single one is in standard 9-to-6 working hours — in that case you'll need to ask someone to take an early or late call.

Is this the same as a simple UTC converter?

It's built on the same underlying idea, but instead of a single conversion it lines up a whole day across every city at once so you can visually scan for a workable slot rather than converting one time at a time.
